FORT WAYNE, Ind. – The Indiana Tech women's soccer team picked up the 2-0 conference victory in a weather-shortened contest over Lourdes on Saturday afternoon at Warrior Athletic Field.
Kristen Roe put the Warriors on the board first with her second goal of the season in the third minute of the game.
Marina Steffke added to the Orange and Black lead with the second goal of the game, her first of the season, in the 10
th minute of play.
Tech would hold off the Gray Wolves the remainder of the contest, before consistent lightning cut the contest in the 70th minute.
Tailer Roscoe picked up the win, making three saves in goal for the Orange and Black.
The Warriors (2-6-2) return to action on Wednesday, October 5th as they host Lawrence Tech at Warrior Athletic Field. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. and links to live video and stats will be available at IndianaTechWarriors.com.
