FORT WAYNE, Ind. – The Indiana Tech men's ice hockey ACHA Division 1 team fell to University of Jamestown, 5-2, on Sunday afternoon at the SportONE/Parkview Icehouse to conclude their three-game weekend.
Taylor Jones would give the Warriors an early 1-0 lead with a goal at 18:22 in the first, but the Jimmies would respond back with two goals in a 1:51 stretch to go ahead at the 14:02 mark.
Jimmie Kotilainen would tie the game back up at two-all just 32 second later though, as the two teams went into the first intermission knotted up at 2-2.
Jamestown would take advantage of a four-minute power play to start the second period though, as Wyatt Grant put the visitors up 3-2 at 17:06 and then a goal from Cameron Todd made it 4-2 Jamestown just under 90 second later.
Tech would just muster eight shots on goal in the final 20 minutes as the Jimmies added an empty-netter insurance goal with 66 seconds left and leave the Summit City with the 5-2 victory.
Zach Larson, who came on in relief in the first period after
Chet Tooker was forced to leave the game due to an equipment issue, made 36 saves in net for the Orange and Black.

Tech (7-2-0) returns to the ice on Saturday when they welcome Midland University to the SportONE/Parkview Icehouse for a two-game set, with puck drop set for 5:30 p.m.
