FORT WAYNE, Ind. – The Indiana Tech ACHA Division 1 men's ice hockey team won its fourth consecutive game as they defeated Indiana, 7-3, on Saturday evening at SportONE/Parkview Icehouse.
Joe Molfetta continued his scoring surge as he tacked on two more goals in the game while
Jimmie Kotilainen also scored twice. The duo and
Adam Jonak would all tallied two assists apiece.
John Slavik made 24 saves while picking up his second win of the season.

Ryan Theisen and Jonak all won six faceoffs to lead the Warriors.
Kotilainen would put the Orange and Black on the board first just 50 seconds into the game while Molfetta tallied his scores at 15:06 and 12:45 of the first to put the hosts up 3-0. While the Hoosiers would score at 11:43 in the first, Tech would counter with a goal from Theisen at the 9:24 mark to recapture their three-goal lead.
The Warriors would then a goal in the second and two more in the third as they would get their second consecutive sweep to start the season.
Tech (4-0-0) hits the road for the first time this year next weekend as they travel to 16
th-ranked Illinois for a two-game set. Game one will take place on Friday, October 14, at University of Illinois Ice Arena, with puck drop set for 8 p.m. ET.
