GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – The Indiana Tech men's soccer team suffered their first loss of the season on Saturday evening, falling to Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) rival Cornerstone, 1-0, at CU Soccer Stadium.
The lone goal for the Golden Eagles came in the 79
th minute as Regan Billings beat Tech keeper
Adam Viviano.
Brennan Cochran would get off a shot on frame in the 84
th minute, but was denied by CU keeper Dary Dewalt.
Cochran would led the team with two shots on goal in his first start of the season while
Ruben Leonardo and
Roman Schindler both tallied one on frame. Viviano would finish the game with three saves.
Tech (8-1-1, 2-1-1 WHAC) returns home on Wednesday when they host fifth-ranked Northwestern Ohio. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. from Warrior Athletic Field and links to live stats and video will be available at IndianaTechWarriors.com.
