FORT WAYNE, Ind. – The No. 21-ranked Indiana Tech women's basketball team won its fifth game in a row and 10th of the season with a 71-44 victory over Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) rival Aquinas on Wednesday evening at the Schaefer Center.

Kendall Knapke continued her hot stretch of play with a game-high 15 points on 5-9 shooting and going 3-5 from behind the three-point line while grabbing eight rebounds and dishing out a season-high four assists. Haley Cook added 14 points, four steals and three assists while Taylor Seiss and Keanna Gary chipped in 12 points apiece with the latter pulling down a game-high 13 rebounds for her sixth double-double of the season. Bella Lozano-Dobbs dished out a game-high six assists and added four points.

The two sides got out to a slow start offensively as Tech missed their first five shots while the Saints grabbed 6-0 lead. The Warriors would score their first basket at the 5:02 mark in the first quarter as Sarah White knocked down a three pointer, sparking a 12-2 run for the hosts.

After taking a 16-11 lead after the first quarter, the Warriors would jumped out to a 11-0 run to open the second quarter and shake off their shooting slump by shooting 53.3% from the field during the period to end the half up 40-21.

The hosts would then go on an 18-5 run to open the third quarter and assume complete control of the game, outscoring the visitors 31-23 in the second half to win their fifth straight conference game.

Tech (10-1, 5-1 WHAC) returns to action on Saturday as they start a four game road trip with a visit to Sylvania, Ohio and a matchup with Lourdes. Tipoff is set for 1 p.m. from the Russell J. Ebeid Recreation Center.
