SOUTHFIELD, Mich. – The 22
nd-ranked Indiana Tech men's basketball team defeated Lawrence Tech on Saturday afternoon, 63-46, at Don Ridler Field House to push their winning streak to six games.
Miles Robinson had a game-high 24 points and grabbed six rebounds. He also had three assists and two steals.
Dominique Walls added 17 points and 13 rebounds for his 14
th double-double of the year and also had three steals.
Tanner Watkins chipped in 11 points on 4-of-6 shooting, including 3-of-5 from the three-point line.
Jaelan Manson had seven rebounds, three points and three assists off the bench while
Lavonte Davis grabbed five rebounds and had two blocks.
The Warriors jumped out to a 10-2 lead in the opening four minutes of the game and pushed their lead to 11 with 8:48 left in the half. Tech would get up by as many as 14 with a 28-14 lead as they headed into intermission with a 31-22 lead.
The Blue Devils would open the second half on a 9-4 run to cut the deficit to four points, but the Orange and Black would respond with an 11-0 spurt to go up 47-32 with 11:25 to go. Tech would continue its dominance and extend the lead to as many as 19 points as they swept the season series with Lawrence Tech.
Tech (21-7, 16-4 WHAC) concludes its three-game road trip on Wednesday with a huge matchup against defending national champion, second place and 10
