FORT WAYNE, Ind. – Jace Childs scored in overtime to give the No. 19 Indiana Tech ACHA Division 1 men's ice hockey team a 4-3 victory over Midland on Friday night at the SportONE/Parkview Icehouse.
 
After Midland had a golden opportunity to win the game at the other end, Childs broke away from everyone for a one-on-one opportunity with Warriors goalie Jarin Aden and beat him stick-side high for his team-leading 24^th goal.
 
Jarrett Pfeiffer scored two goals for the Orange and Black, while Zach Larson made 35 saves. Adam Jonak scored the other goal for the Warriors, while Ryan Theisen picked up the assist on Pfeiffer's first goal
 
Tech (19-2-1-1) concludes its weekend set as well as the season series with Midland on Saturday. Puck drop is scheduled for 6 p.m. from the SportONE/Parkview Icehouse and links to live video and stats will be available at IndianaTechWarriors.com.
