ADRIAN, Mich. – The No. 3/3 (NAIA/NWLL) Indiana Tech women's lacrosse team dominated Siena Heights, 22-2, on Wednesday evening at O'Laughlin Stadium in WHAC play.
Jennifer Banks led the Warriors with four goals while
Kristina Scott and
Sam Vikstrom each scored three goals each.
Aubri Hazen,
Alexa Winter,
Tayler Campbell Heidi Tremaine and
Dakota Dawson all had two goals apiece. Vikstrom had eight ground balls and five draw controls as well.
Meaghan Eldridge picked up the win with five saves.
Tremaine scored just 35 seconds into the game to give the Warriors the lead and scored five unanswered goals to take a 6-0 lead. The Saints would score at the 22:32 mark but the Orange and Black proceeded to score nine unanswered goals to make it 15-1.
The Warriors would cruise to the win with six more goals in the second.
Tech (6-0, 3-0 WHAC) will host Lourdes on Saturday at 1 p.m. at Warrior Athletic Field.
