FORT WAYNE, Ind. – The Indiana Tech women's tennis team fell to No. 16 Davenport on Friday afternoon at Wildwood Racquet Club, 9-0.
Barbara Belli de Oliveira fell in a hard-fought two-setter to Emily Spiech, 7-6 (8), 7-6 (3). Belli de Oliveira and
Anabell Cordero picked up a game in an 8-1 loss at one doubles.
Raquel Manzoni and Cordero would each pick up a game in matching 6-1, 6-0 defeats at one and two singles, respectively, while Manzoni and
Kayla Morrell fell 8-2 at two doubles.
Tech (0-8, 0-1 WHAC) continues its busy weekend on Saturday with a visit from Cornerstone. Match time is set for 12 p.m. from Wildwood Racquet Club.
