SYLVANIA, Ohio – The No. 4 (NAIA/NWLL) Indiana Tech women's lacrosse team concluded their 2016 road schedule with a 21-8 over Lourdes on Wednesday evening at Wildcat Stadium.
Kristina Scott scored a season-high six goals while earning eight draw controls.
Aubri Hazen and
Alexa Winter each score four times each and both going 1-1 on free position shots. Porchia Turner had a game-high four ground balls while Scott, Hazen,
Heidi Tremaine and
Nicole Price each picking up three apiece.
Meaghan Eldridge made one save in 30 minutes to pick up the win while
Sydney Davis made four saves in relief.
The Gray Wolves took a 1-0 lead two and a half minutes into the game, but the Warriors would respond with two goals in the next two minutes to take a 2-1 lead. Another Lourdes goal would tie it up at two-all with 23:37 to go in the first half, but the visitors would score six of the next seven goals to open an 8-3 lead.
Tech would outscore the hosts 3-1 over the final eight minutes of the opening half to take a 11-4 lead into the locker room. The Warriors would open the second half on a 8-0 run and go on to win 21-8 to improve to 6-1 in road games.
Tech (12-1, 8-1 WHAC) concludes its regular season on Saturday when they host third-ranked Davenport. Game time is set for 1 p.m. from Warrior Athletic Field.
