FORT WAYNE, Ind. – The Indiana Tech women's tennis team won its second match in a row on Saturday afternoon at Wildwood Racquet Club, defeating Concordia 5-4 in Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) action.
The Warriors took a 2-1 lead after doubles action with the one doubles team of
Barbara Belli de Oliveira and
Anabell Cordero winning 8-3 while the two flight squad of
Raquel Manzoni and
Kayla Morrell winning 8-1.
Manzoni, Cordero and Belli de Oliveira would then cruise at one, two and three singles, respectively, with each winning 6-0, 6-0, as Tech won its second match in a row.
Tech (2-8, 2-1 WHAC) returns to action on Sunday with a nonconference match against Marian University. First serve is set for 2 p.m. from Wildwood.
