DEARBORN, Mich. – The Indiana Tech volleyball team improved to 2-0 in Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) action with a commanding 3-0 sweep of Michigan Dearborn, 25-6, 25-16, 25-11, Wednesday night at UM-Dearborn Fieldhouse.
 
The Warrior attach was led by Cassie Sarabia and Paige Doellman, who each finished the night with a game-high eight kills each. Karli Jones and Autumn Stokes also concluded the night strong, dishing out 15 and 14 assists, respectively. Taylor Kelso rounded out the Orange and Black leaders with a game-high 10 digs.
 
After being down 2-3 early in the opening set, Tech capitalized on compiling errors by the Wolverines to go on a 12-0 run, and would eventually only surrender three more points to their opponents for the 25-6 first-set decision. Michigan-Dearborn kept the first half of the second set tightly contested before the Warriors began gaining momentum and pushing the overall pace. The strong performance from Indiana Tech carried them, along with two decisive 5-0 runs, through the final set, claiming a 25-11 victory and guaranteeing the sweep of their conference foe. 
 
Tech (8-4) will be back in action this weekend for a full slate of conference play as they host Aquinas on Friday, September 16 in a 7 p.m. start and Cornerstone on Saturday, September 17 with first serve set for 1 p.m. at the Schaefer Center.
