FORT WAYNE, Ind. – The Indiana Tech women's tennis team fell to #8 Indiana Wesleyan, 9-0, on Saturday morning at Swinney Tennis Courts in their fall season home opener for the 2016-17 season.
 
The one doubles team of Barbara Belli de Oliveira and Anabell Cordero fell 8-3 by the Wildcat duo of Lizzie Bauss and Alex Mella. In the two spot, Raquel Manzoni and Kassidy Hawk were brought down by Rachel Bottorff and Kelsey Vessels, 8-0.
 
In singles play, Manzoni lost to Bottorff, 6-0, 6-1, while Belli de Oliveira was defeated by Bauss, 6-1, 6-1, at three singles. Hawk fell to Marissa Klein at four single, 6-3, 6-0.
 
The Warriors return to the courts on Wednesday, Sept. 28 when they travel to Grace College for their final match of the fall portion of their season, First serve is set for 3 p.m.
