Tech Improves Winning Streak to Eight with 4-1 Victory over Wolverines

BRIGHTON, Mich. – The Indiana Tech men's soccer team extended its winning streak on Wednesday afternoon with a 4-1 win over Michigan-Dearborn in Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) play at the Legacy Center.
 
The Warriors got out to an early 1-0 as Oswaldo Segura Diaz scored just four minutes and 23 seconds into the game while Roman Schindler extended Tech's lead to 2-0 in the 11th minute.
 
Ruben Leonardo would give the Orange and Black a 3-0 lead with just under seven minutes to go in the first half, while Ethan Payne added a goal in the 67th minute.
 
Tech's defense continued its stellar play again, limiting the Wolverines to just five overall shots and one shot on goal, while Adam Viviano improved to 8-0 on the year.
 
Tech (8-0-0, 2-0-0) returns home on Saturday when they host Lourdes in their Homecoming Game. Kickoff is set for 3 p.m. from Warrior Athletic Field and links to live stats and video will be available at IndianaTechWarriors.com.
