UPLAND, Ind. – The Indiana Tech women's tennis team fell to Taylor University, 7-2, Saturday morning at Meier Tennis Courts in their fall season opener for the 2016-17 season.
 
Raquel Manzoni and Anabell Cordero each picked up straight-set decisions at one and two singles, respectively, providing Tech's two victories for the day, with Manzoni topping Alexa Kling, 6-1, 6-1 and Cordero finishing off Taelor Grose, 6-2, 6-4.
 
The Warriors (0-1) return to action on Friday when they travel to neighboring Huntington University to take on the Foresters at Klopfenstein Tennis Courts. First serve is set for 4:30 p.m.
