SYLVANIA, Ohio – The Indiana Tech men's soccer team continued its strong play in Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) action on Saturday afternoon as they defeated Lourdes, 2-1, at Wildcat Stadium to stay undefeated in conference play.
 
Brennan Cochran continued his torrid streak of late as he notched his 10^th goal of the season in the ninth minute and move his streak to consecutive scoring streak to three games. The Gray Wolves would catch a break in the 20^th minute as the Warriors failed to clear the ball off a corner kick and Judah Goodrige seized the opportunity to tie the game at one.
 
Tech would respond just eight minutes later though, as Andrew Higgins found Ruben Leonardo off the set piece to give the visitors the lead again. The Warriors would attempt to extend their lead in the final minutes of the first half with two shots on frame and a corner kick, but Lourdes keeper Jose Cedillo would keep the deficit to one heading into the half.
 
The second half would feature a defensive battle as the two teams combined for just three shots on goal and two corner kicks, with both kicks going to the Warriors.
 
Richard Doll would get credit for the assist on Cochran's goal while Edwin Rosado made two saves in the win.
 
Tech (7-3-0, 3-0-0 WHAC) returns to action on Wednesday, October 4 as they host Lawrence Tech in a 4 p.m. matchup from Warrior Athletic Field.
