FORT WAYNE, Ind. – The Indiana Tech men's soccer team suffered a heartbreaking 3-2 double overtime loss on Wednesday evening to Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) foe Lawrence Tech at Warrior Athletic Field.
 
The Blue Devils would control the pace and flow of the game in the first half, out-shooting the Warriors 9-1 while Alvaro Garcia would give the visitors the lead in the 15^th minute. Tech would convert off back-to-back corner kicks in the 57^th minute though, as Brennan Cochran knocked in the equalizer following Ruben Leonardo's boot from the corner.
 
Lawrence Tech would quickly retake the lead four minutes later thanks to an end-line pass, but Cochran would convert the Warriors first penalty kick of the season in the 62^nd minute to tie the game back up at 2-2.
 
Neither side would record a shot on goal in overtime until the 108^th minute as Chris Serwatka got ahold of the ball after a shot that hit the post and was able to cross it in to Adrian Miling who knocked it in for the game-winner.
 
Edwin Rosado made five saves in the loss, the first for the Warriors in conference action.
 
Tech (7-4-0, 3-1-0 WHAC) returns to action on Saturday when they host Cornerstone. Kickoff is set for 12 p.m. from Warrior Athletic Field.
