Tech Picks Up First Victory with 7-2 Win at Goshen

Box Score GOSHEN, Ind. – The Indiana Tech women's tennis team picked up its first win of the season on Tuesday evening as they defeated Goshen, 7-2, at the Goshen College Tennis Complex.
 
Tech would get out of the gate quick by taking two of the three points in doubles play, with the first flight of Maria Jimenez and Hannah Dodd rolling to the 8-0 shutout. Jimenez would continue her stellar play with a double bagel 6-0, 6-0 win at first flight in singles play while Dodd notched the 6-1, 6-2 victory at second flight.
 
Kerigan Riley picked up the first win of her career with the 6-2, 6-0 victory at third flight and Abigail Spencer rolled to the 6-2, 6-0 win at fourth flight.
 
Tech (1-4) concludes its fall season on Monday, October 16 as they travel to Earlham. First serve is set for 4 p.m. from Earlham Tennis Courts.
