FORT WAYNE, Ind. – The Indiana Tech women's tennis team fell to Olivet, 6-3, on Sunday evening in their spring opener at Wildwood Racquet Club.
The Comets would take the first two points at doubles, but the first flight pair of
Raquel Manzoni and
Anabell Cordero would put the Warriors on the board with an 8-1 victory. The duo would also win their respective singles matches at number one and two, with the former winning 6-2, 6-1, while the latter would pull out a 6-2, 6-4 win.
Kassidy Hawk and
Hannah Dodd would put fights at three and four singles, respectively, before falling in straight sets, 6-2, 6-2, and 6-2, 6-3.
Tech (2-4) returns to action on Thursday when they host regional rival Goshen.
