KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Indiana Tech senior men's basketball player
Miles Robinson was named a 2016-17 NAIA All-American as the NAIA All-America Committee announced the annual honors on Thursday.
Robinson garnered his second All-American honors as he was named to the Third-Team following another spectacular season for the Warriors, where he led the team in scoring (20.9 ppg/649 points), minutes (35.8 mpg/1,111 minutes), assists (4.4 apg/136 assists) and steals (1.3 spg/41 steals). The Grand Rapids, Michigan native shot 43.3% from the floor, 37.7% from three-point range and 81.8% from the free throw line while starting all 31 games for the Orange and Black.
Robinson capped his Tech career by being named to the All-Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) First-Team and also surpassed the 1,000 point plateau earlier this season while leading the Warriors to their second-straight 20-win season.
He is now the sixth Warrior in the history of the program to garner multiple All-American honors and finished his career with 1,309 points, the 19
th most in school history.
