GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – The Indiana Tech women's tennis team fell to No. 14-ranked Davenport, 9-0, on Friday evening at Riverview Athletic Club.
Playing with a lineup of just three ladies due to injuries, the Warriors found themselves trailing 5-0 before the match even began. The one doubles team of
Raquel Manzoni and
Anabell Cordero would put up a fight before falling, 7-3, while the latter would in a hard-fought match at two single, 6-4, 7-6 (7-4).
Tech (2-9, 0-3 WHAC) returns to action Saturday as they host Aquinas. First serve is set for 1 p.m. from Concordia Lutheran High School.
