FORT WAYNE, Ind. – The Indiana Tech men's soccer team fell to Bethel, 5-1, in their opening game of the 2017 season on Saturday afternoon at Warrior Athletic Field.

th minute as they converted their first of two penalty kicks in the match after a handball was called in the box on the Warriors.
The visitors would jump on the hosts early in the second half with two more goals in the opening seven minutes to take a 3-1 lead. Bethel's defense would stifle the Warrior attack in the second half as well, allowing just two shots on goal.
Edwin Rosado would make four saves in his collegiate debut while
Brennan Cochran recorded two shots on goal to lead the team.
Tech (0-1-0) returns to action Wednesday as they make the short trip on US 24 south to take on Huntington. Kickoff is set for 5 p.m. from Forester Soccer Field.
