FORT WAYNE, Ind. – The Indiana Tech women's soccer team end its nonconference slate on a sour note Tuesday evening as they fell to Indiana Wesleyan, 3-0, at Warrior Athletic Field.
The Wildcats would strike quickly just five minutes into the game as Tia Sanford beat Tech keeper
Chloe Parker to make it a 1-0 IWU game, while Sanford added her second goal of the night in the 57
th minute to double the visitors lead.
Indiana Wesleyan would shut down the Tech offense as well, limiting the Warriors to just three shots on goal while picking up their sixth shutout in seven games this season.
Tori Singstock recorded two shots on goals while Parker made four saves in net.
Tech (3-4-0) opens up conference play on Saturday as they host Concordia. Kickoff is set for 3 p.m. from Warrior Athletic Field.
