UPLAND, Ind. – The Indiana Tech women's soccer team fell to regional rival and No. 17-ranked Taylor, 1-0, in nonconference action on Friday night at Turner Stadium.
 
The Trojans scored the game's lone goal in the 31^st minute, their only shot to get past Tech keeper Chloe Parker, who made a career-high 12 saves in the loss. The Warriors would fire off four shots on frame in the second half, including one in the 89^th minute, but Lauren Engelkes would stand tall to preserve the Taylor shutout.
 
Shelby Lucas and Tori Singstock would each record two shots on goal apiece.
 
Tech (2-2) concludes their short two-game road trip Sunday as they take on NCAA Division III Manchester. Kickoff is set for 1 p.m. from the Spartan Soccer Complex.
