Tech Falls to Saints to End Weekend Set

Box Score BYRON CENTER, Mich. – The Indiana Tech men's ice hockey team fell to Aquinas College, 4-1, on Saturday evening at Southside Ice Arena in Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) action.
 
"We played with no identity today," head coach Frank DiCristofaro said. "We have to figure out what kind of team we want to be."
 
Ryan Attwood put the Warriors ahead five minutes into the first period, but the Saints tied the game up with three minutes left in the period. Aquinas took the lead in the second and tacked on a pair of power play goals in the third to finalize the score at 4-1.
 
Ryan O'Toole made 23 saves in net while Mike Tish and Jimmie Kotilainen had assists on Attwood's goal.
 
Tech (4-2-0, 4-2-0 WHAC) continues conference action Friday with Lawrence Tech to kick off a three-game weekend. Friday's game will serve as the team's Cancer Awareness Night as well as the first of four games for the Tech Cup. Puck drop is set for 7:30 p.m. from the SportONE/Parkview Ice House.
