FORT WAYNE, Ind. – The Indiana Tech men's soccer team won their fifth straight game, and eighth in their last nine matches, with a 3-0 victory over Lawrence Tech on Saturday afternoon at Warrior Athletic Field in Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) action.
Richard Doll scored the first goal of the game in the 40
th minute to give the Warriors a 1-0 lead at the half before the Orange and Black put up two more goals in the first 12 minutes of the second half to extend their advantage to 3-0.
Jaxon Simerman scored his fifth goal of the season in the 53
rd minute while
Brennan Cochran scored five minutes later to make it 3-0.
Edwin Rosado notched his fourth clean sheet of the season after tying his season-high in saves with eight while Simerman and
Mitch Smith recorded assists.
Tech (10-3-1, 6-0-1 WHAC) returns to action Wednesday as they host No. 23-ranked University of Northwestern Ohio in a battle for the top spot in the conference. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. from Warrior Athletic Field.
