CHELSEA, Mich. – The Indiana Tech men's ice hockey team defeated Concordia University (Mich.), 11-1, on Friday evening in Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) action inside Arctic Coliseum for their seventh straight win.
Zach Bennett put the Warriors ahead eight minutes into the contest, but the Cardinals knotted the game up a 1-1 with 10:26 to play in the first. Tech took control of the game after that though, scoring two more goals in the period and adding three more in the second.
The visitors would score five more goals in the third to set a season-high in goals and tied the program record for goals in a single game. Bennett,

Cameron Wirick each netted two goals while Pfeiffer,
Adam Jonak,
Nick Trefry,
Adam Vannelli and
Nick Papandrea each had two assists.
Ryan O'Toole made 35 saves in the win.
Tech (12-4-0, 6-2-0 WHAC) returns to action Saturday with a nonconference game against Concordia. Puck drop is set for 7 p.m. from Arctic Coliseum.
