FORT WAYNE, Ind. – The No. 2-ranked Indiana Tech men's lacrosse team defeated No. 5-ranked Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD), 15-5, on Friday night at Warrior Athletic Field in the teams' final nonconference game of the season.

The Bees held the early advantage with a 2-1 lead after 15 minutes of play thanks to a 4-0 advantage in face-off opportunities. Back-to-back man-advantage goals from Will McKinney and Jace Childs gave Tech a 3-2 lead two and a half minutes into the second though to get the Warriors offense rolling.

With the hosts leading 5-3 at the intermission, the Orange and Black exploded for eight goals in the third period, with Noah Puckett recording a hat trick, as Tech took a 13-4 lead into the final 15 minutes of regulation. The Warriors scored three times in the first four minutes of the half and then had four goals in a 3:30 stretch in the midway point of the period to pull away from SCAD.

McKinney finished with a team-high five goals and four assists while Puckett had four goals and two assists. Jace Childs had seven ground balls, two goals and two assists while Evan Schuster picked up the win in the cage after making 12 saves.
