SYLANIA, Ohio – The number-six seeded Indiana Tech softball team won its first Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) Tournament game since the 2012 season as they defeated number-three seeded Siena Heights, 3-0, on Wednesday evening at Pacesetter Park.
 
The Warriors did all their damage in the fourth as Lauren Ohnesorge drove in the first run of the day with an RBI single while twin sister Madison Ohnesorge laced a hit down the left field line in the next at-bat to drive in two more runs and give Tech a 3-0 lead.
 
Amanda Shonka shut the door on the Saints as she tossed a complete game two-hitter in the circle to improve to 8-10 on the year. Nicolle Sierra went 2-2 with a walk.
 
The Warriors win moves them into the winner's bracket where they will face off with number-two seeded and regular season co-champion Aquinas. The two teams were scheduled to play this evening following their first games of the tournament, but storms in the area forced the game to be postponed to Thursday. First pitch is scheduled for 2 p.m. from Pacesetter Park.

Update: Thursday's games have been pushed back to Friday due to field conditions. Start time is set 2 p.m.
