PALOS HEIGHTS, Ill. – The Indiana Tech women's soccer team fell to nonconference foe Trinity Christian College, 5-0, on Tuesday afternoon at the Schaaf Athletics Complex.
The Trolls got on the board in the 28
th minute and then added two more goals in the next 10 minutes to take a 3-0 lead into the locker room at the half. After the hosts made it 5-0 in the 71
st minute, the game was put into a weather delay as storms moved into the area and the game was eventually called due to weather and being an official game following 70 minutes of play.
Hadley Hopkins had two shots on goal off the bench while
Ally Zenda made nine saves in the loss.
Tech (0-2) continues their three-game road trip Saturday as they return to the Land of Lincoln with a matchup against Judson University. Kickoff is set for 1 p.m. EDT from Dawson Field.
