Warriors Participate in DSANI Buddy Walk

FORT WAYNE, Ind. – The Indiana Tech Department of Athletics was well-represented Saturday in the 20th annual DSANI Buddy Walk® as nine programs and over 300 student-athletes participated in the event to help raise money and awareness for down syndrome in downtown Fort Wayne.

The Warriors had representatives from cheerleading, men's basketball, women's basketball, men's ice hockey, women's soccer, men's and women's track and field, softball and wrestling.
 
The DSANI Buddy Walk® is the second largest Buddy Walk® in Indiana! The Buddy Walk® is a trademarked program that was created by the National Down Syndrome Society in 1995 to assist local parent groups in their advocacy efforts.
