FORT WAYNE, Ind. – Lauren Snyder, Kristin Matlack, Sarah Koker, and Miguel Gonzalez Sanchez were named Wolverine Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) Players of the Week, the conference announced Monday.

Tech had its biggest collective week of the young school year last week, racking up four conference player of the week awards. Lauren Snyder and Kristin Matlack would be named Women's Volleyball Attacker and Setter of the Week, respectively, marking the second time this season the duo has claimed these awards. Snyder led the Warriors with 26 kills, averaging 4.33 per set, and added 8 digs and 1 block in two 3-0 conference sweeps last week, while Matlack finished with 71 assists, averaging 11.83 per set, and added 11 digs, 4 kills, 4 blocks, and 2 aces in a stellar week for the sophomore setter.

Sarah Koker would be named Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week after leading the Warriors with a 22:42.1 in the 6k race at the Knight Invite hosted by Calvin University, finishing in 15th place overall, as the top NAIA runner, in a field of 137 total runners. She helped the Warrior team to a fourth-place finish in the ten team field.

Miguel Gonzalez Sanchez was named Men's Golfer of the Week after leading the Warriors through a historic tournament at the Lindsey Wilson Blue Raider Fall Invite last week. The Tech squad broke two school records including the 18-hole round and 54-hole tournament records en route to a fifth-place finish in a strong tournament field. He would finish ninth overall with an even par score over three rounds, while shooting a 67 (-3) on day one, which is the second lowest 18-hole score in program history.
