SYLVANIA, Ohio – The Indiana Tech men's soccer team battled with Lourdes University in Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) play to a 0-0 double overtime tie at Wildcat Stadium Wednesday afternoon.
 
Both teams battled hard through the first 90 minutes of the game but ended in a stalemate forcing overtime at Wildcat Stadium. The Warriors had three shots on goal in the first 24 minutes of action and two more in the 55^th and 58^th minute, but couldn't beat the Lourdes keeper in regulation.
 
Overtime was tight all the way through, with each side only registering a single shot on target as the Warriors drew their first tie of the season.
 
Leading the Warriors in shots was freshman Jaxon Simerman with four. Ivan Safranic and Edwin Rosado split time in net and both came up with one save each.
 
The Warriors (5-3-1, 1-0-1 WHAC) play their next game at home against Cornerstone University at the Warrior Athletic Field on Homecoming on Saturday. Game time for the match is set for 12 p.m.
