FORT WAYNE, Ind. – The Indiana Tech women's soccer team fell to Siena Heights University, 3-1, on Saturday afternoon in Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) action at Warrior Athletic Field.
 
Danielle Blagojevic put the Warriors ahead early as she corralled a rebound from an Elaina Monroe shot and weaved her shot in between two defenders and the goalie to score her first goal of the season in the 13^th minute. The Saints came right back with a goal of their own though 12 minutes later as Elizabeth Ferguson hit one into the upper 90 on the right.
 
Siena Heights entered halftime with a 2-1 lead as they scored in the 42^nd minute and the carried that momentum into the second half with four more shots on goal before making it a 3-0 game in the 65^th minute.
 
Riley Stafford finished with 11 saves in the loss, tying her career-high, while Sydney Lemelin had two shots on goal.
 
Tech (4-8-0, 0-5-0 WHAC) returns to action on Wednesday, October 16 as they travel to Ann Arbor, Michigan for a matchup with Concordia University. Kickoff is set for 1 p.m. from Cardinal Stadium.
