FORT WAYNE, Ind. – The Indiana Tech women's soccer team snapped an 11-game losing streak Saturday afternoon on Senior Day at Warrior Athletic Field as they defeated Rochester University in overtime, 3-2, in Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) action.
 
Megan Clifton was the hero of the game as she curled a ball into the left side of the net in the 98^th minute for the golden goal and notching her third of the season. Kayla Saffran got the scoring started early as she made it a 1-0 game just 71 seconds into the match while Molly Ames made it a 2-0 contest in the 26^th minute.
 
Emily Tippman made eight saves to notch her first collegiate win while Karson Gardner and Lily Rothert both had assists.
 
Tech (5-11-0, 1-8-0 WHAC) returns to action on Wednesday, October 30 as they travel to Cleary University for a conference game. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. from Lake Trust Stadium.
