After scoring on their opening possession of the game, the Warriors found themselves trailing 9-2 at the 16:32 mark and were forced to take a timeout. A jumper from
Lucas Lehrman sparked a 10-0 run for Tech as they went back up 12-9 just three minutes later. The Maple Leafs came back to knot the game up at 18 at the 11:31 mark, but an 11-0 run from Tech, with three different Warriors knocking down a shot from behind the arc, put them ahead 29-18. The hosts would not let the Warriors get too far ahead though, cutting the deficit down to five, but a triple from Huber at the buzzer put the visitors up 46-38 at the break.
The Maple Leafs kept the game close in the first five minutes of the second half, but an 11-0 run from the Orange and Black put them ahead 68-47 with 12:42 to play. The Warriors kept up the defensive pressure on Goshen to keep their advantage in double digits and never let the lead get under 14 for the rest of the contest as they cruised to the 17-point victory.
Tech (6-7) returns to action on Tuesday, December 17 as they travel to Lincoln College for a nonconference matchup. Tip-off is set for 7 p.m. from Jack D. Nutt Arena.
