GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – Indiana Tech junior Dawson Maier was named the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) Men's Bowler of the Week, the conference office announced Monday.
 
Maier had a pair of top-10 finishes for the No. 2-ranked Warriors at the Roto Grip Keystone Quaker Classic and Lehigh Valley Collegiate Classic this past weekend. The Newport News, Virginia native took ninth at the first tournament with a score of 1,047 before coming back with a runner-up performance at the second tournament with a score of 1,146.
 
It is the first time in his career that he has won the weekly honor.
