Box Score ST. LOUIS – The Indiana Tech men's ice hockey team extended its winning streak to 22 games on Friday evening as they defeated Lindenwood University – Belleville in overtime, 5-4, inside the FSI Shark Tank.
 
"We had a ton of special teams play today that we had to manage," said  head coach Frank DiCristofaro. "I was happy with our guys overcoming adversity the way they did. Lindy (Bryson Linenburg) made a huge save on a 2-0 break for them in overtime that gave us the lift we needed in the end."
 
The Warriors exploded for three goals in the second period to take a 3-2 lead, with Adam Jonak scoring all three goals for Tech. Adam Vannelli scored with just over six minutes left in regulation to put Tech up 4-3, but the Lynx tied it up at 4-4 just over a minute later.
 
After Linenburg's save in overtime, Jarrett Pfeiffer scored at the 3:34 mark to give the Warriors the win and keep their win streak alive. Linenburg finished the night with 23 saves to improve to 14-0 on the season. Pfeiffer, Zach Bennett and Mike Tish each recorded two assists.
 
Tech (27-3-0) closes out the regular season on Saturday as they take on Lindenwood in a rematch. Puck drop is set for 9 p.m. EST from the FSI Shark Tank.
