UPLAND, Ind. – The Indiana Tech men's outdoor track and field team continued its season on Saturday as they took part in the George Glass Invitational, hosted by Taylor University at the George Glass Track and Field Complex.
Matt Lockridge ran a season-best in the 100 meters by crossing the finish line in 10.56 to hit the NAIA automatic qualifying standard while taking home first place. He would place third in the 200m with a time of 21.90 and lead off the 4x100m relay that took sixth in 44.74.
Coby Bailey finished second in the 100 with a provisional mark of 10.61, captured the 200m title in 21.71 and anchored the 4x1 team.
Gairy Springer won the 400m in a time of 48.87 while he took second in the 200 by clocking a time of 21.79.
Dillan Cerny finished second in the 800m with a time of 1:55.50 while
Cameron Dessing won the 400m hurdles in 55.59.
Dylan Bikim cleared 2.05m/6-8.75 in the high jump to take second while
Jerry Rolle won the long jump by hitting 6.94m/22-9.25.
Malik Johnson was first in the triple jump (14.09m/46-2.75) and second in the long jump (6.87m/22-6.5).
Nathan Riley finished third in the shot put by throwing 16.32m/53-6.5 and hitting the NAIA "A" standard.
Tech returns to action on Saturday, April 13 as they make another trip south on I-69 to compete in the Ball State Challenge.
