ADRIAN, Mich. – The Indiana Tech women's soccer team fell to Siena Heights University, 1-0, Saturday afternoon in their opening match of Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) play at O'Laughlin Stadium.
The lone goal of the match game in the 23
rd minute as a turnover in the Warriors defensive end led to a goal from the Saints. It would be the only shot that senior goalkeeper
Christina Wynn would allow in the match as she stopped 12 shots, just two off her career-best, while taking her second consecutive one-goal loss.
Tech's offense was stymied all afternoon by the Saints as they were only able to muster three shots on goal and 10 in all. Two of the Warriors three shots on frame came from freshman
Athena Edwards while classmate
Jordan Brown-Mundey had the other.
Tech (0-3-0, 0-1-0 WHAC) returns to action Saturday, October 10 as they host Lawrence Technological University. Kickoff is set for 2 p.m. from Warrior Athletic Field.
