Box Score KALAMAZOO, Mich. – The No. 8-ranked Indiana Tech men's ice hockey team fell to Western Michigan, 2-1, Friday evening in their penultimate game of the regular season at Wings West Arena in the I-69 Cup.
The Stallions got on the board first with 6:47 left in the first, while
Cam Chabot knotted the game up four minutes into the second period. Western Michigan went back ahead with under two minutes go in the period though, and didn't allow the Warriors to find the game-tying goal over the last 20 minutes of action to snap their seven-game winning streak.
Ryan O'Toole made 26 saves in the loss while
Fabian Granqvist and
Daniel Spannar tallied assists.
Tech (24-8-0) concludes their regular season Saturday evening on home ice for Senior Night. Puck drop is set for 5:30 p.m. from the SportONE/Parkview Icehouse.
