WILLIAMSBURG, Ky. – The Indiana Tech women's lacrosse team fell to No. 2-ranked University of the Cumberlands, 22-1, Friday evening at the UC Soccer/Lacrosse Complex.
Abbey Wilson scored the lone goal for the Warriors, breaking the Patriot shutout with 3:47 left in the game. Cumberlands scored 22 consecutive goals, including 14 in the first half.
Anna Hartman finished the game with four ground balls and 14 saves.
Tech (1-2) returns to action on Sunday as they take on No. 2-ranked Benedictine College at Cumberlands. Opening draw is set for 1 p.m. from the UC Soccer/Lacrosse Complex.
