FORT WAYNE, Ind. - The Indiana Tech women's soccer team was defeated by the UNOH Racers, 1-0, Wednesday night at Warrior Athletic Field.
The Warriors played a very solid game, defensively, holding the fast-paced Racers to a 0-0 tie at the intermission, with Tech out-shooting UNOH 7-4.
It would be a tale of two halves, however. As in the latter half, the Racers would out-shoot the Warriors, 12-1, with one of those 12 finding the back of the net off of a corner kick by Patricia Gomez Noguera.
Tech was unable to respond, dropping to 6-7-0 overall and will look to get back on the winning track this Saturday as they head to Grand Rapids to take on Cornerstone (4-5-1, 2-4-0 WHAC). Kick-off is set for 1 p.m. at Cornerstone Soccer Stadium.
