GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - The Indiana Tech women's soccer team earned their fourth road victory of the season over WHAC foe, Cornerstone, by a final score of 2-1 last Saturday afternoon.
Cornerstone would take the lead in the first half, putting one in the back of the net at the 17-minute mark. However, the second half would favor the Warriors, with
Lily Rothert scoring off of a beautiful pass from from
Alina Garcia in the 59th minute, and
AnnaBella Kowalczyk scoring in the 64th minute after the ball bounced in off the post.Â
Michaela Bitle would make four saves on the day, earning her sixth win of the season.Â
Tech improves to 7-7-0 overall, 3-4-0 in conference play, and will look to get back above .500 as they head to Ann Arbor, Michigan to take on Concordia (9-2-2, 3-1-2 WHAC) on Wednesday at 12 p.m.Â
