GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - The Indiana Tech men's soccer team was clicking on all cylinders as they defeated Cornerstone by a final score of 5-0 this past Saturday at Forest Hills Eastern High School.
Maxwell Amoako got things started off right away in the fourth minute after
Luke Jones gave him a great pass to set him up. It was Amoako once again in the 19th minute as he scored off of another assist by
Luke Jones.
The Warriors had to wait until the 71st minute to celebrate once more, this time it was
Luke Jones using some fancy dribbling to score a solo goal to put the visitors up 3-0.
Just two minutes later it was Amoako getting in on the action again, this time he and
Antonio Marra found
Jaime Rodriguez who put Tech up 4-0.
It was
Jaxon Simerman who capped the night off for the Warriors, scoring in the 83rd minute as the ball went off of a defenders head right onto his foot, where he converted on his chance to make it 5-0.
Jaume Salvado and
Christian Calderon would each make one save apiece.
