FORT WAYNE, Ind. - The No. 9-ranked Indiana Tech men's soccer team defeated the Aquinas Saints, 1-0, Saturday afternoon at Warrior Athletic Field.
The Warriors would take fifteen shots, but actually wouldn't score on any of them, as the lone goal was an own-goal by Aquinas, after the goalie for the Saints misinterpreted a hard kick from his teammate and kicked it into his own net in an attempt to make a save at the 65 minute mark.
The victory was the 5th straight for the Warriors, improving their record to 9-1-0 overall and 3-0-0 in WHAC play.
Indiana Tech will travel to Livonia, Michigan to take on Madonna (5-1-1, 2-0-0 WHAC) at 4 p.m. at the Madonna Soccer & Lacrosse Field.
