LIVONIA, Mich. - The No. 9-ranked Indiana Tech Warriors defeated the Madonna Crusaders, 1-0, Wednesday evening at Madonna Soccer And Lacrosse Field.
The Warriors only needed one shot to connect on the evening, and it was the sophomore
Lucca Motta who scored it in the 23rd minute of play (unassisted. The Warriors defense held up strongly, allowing just four Madonna shots, only one of them being a shot-on-goal.
Jaume Salvado made the lone save and picked up his 10th win of the season.
The victory was the sixth straight for Indiana Tech, improving their record to 10-1 overall, and 4-0 in the WHAC.
Indiana Tech will look to stay hot as they will host Siena Heights (3-3-1, 0-2-1 WHAC) this Saturday at Warrior Athletic Field for a noon kick-off for Warriors for Kids - Wear Red day.
