LIVONIA, Mich. - The Indiana Tech women's volleyball team earned their fifth consecutive sweep, this time with a victory over Madonna (25-17, 25-19, 25-17).
Tech got out to a roaring 8-0 start in the first set, cruising their way to a 25-14 set win. Tech would continue it's dominance in the second set, leading 15-3 before ultimately taking the set, 25-15. The Warriors faced some adversity in the third set, as the Wolverines would claw their way to keep the set tied at 15 apiece before rallying off sevent straight points to go up 22-15 before taking the set and the match, 25-19.
Noelle VanOort led the way offensively with 12 kills while
Taylor Paul had nine.
Andrea Schriver had 31 assists while
Jacey Blust recorded fifteen digs.
Noelle VanOort registered two aces.
Tech (12-8, 8-1 WHAC) will seek their seventh straight victory this Wednesday as they host WHAC foe Siena Heights at 7 p.m. at the Schaefer Center.
