FORT WAYNE, Ind. – The Indiana Tech women's soccer team snapped a three-game losing streak with a 2-1 win over Siena Heights University Saturday afternoon at Warrior Athletic Field. The win also snapped a 10-game losing streak to Siena Heights with the last win for the Warriors coming back in 2012.
 
The Warriors struck quickly with a goal from Lily Rothert off a free kick in the 16^th minute while Alina Garcia scored just two minutes later to put the Warriors up 2-0. The Saints cut the deficit in half in the 38^th minute, but would not get another one past the Tech defense or Michaela Bitle the rest of the afternoon.
 
Bitle made six saves in the win and while the Saints outshot Tech 20-5, the visitors could only get seven on target and just one in the final 25 minutes of the game as the Warriors defense was stingy late.
 
Tech (6-6-0, 2-3-0 WHAC) returns to action Wednesday as they host No. 25-ranked University of Northwestern Ohio. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. from Warrior Athletic Field.
