Men's Soccer Wins WHAC Regular Season Title with Draw at Lawrence Tech

SOUTHFIELD, Mich. - The Indiana Tech men's soccer team earned a 1-1 draw against Lawrence Tech on Saturday night at Blue Devil Stadium.

The two teams tired each other out in the first half with the score being tied 0-0 going into the intermission. In the second half it was Brendan Sidaway who would break the tie, scoring off of a touch pass from Jonas Kahlman after a cross by Maxwell Amoako.

That would be the lone Warrior goal, as the Blue Devils would tie the game just seven minutes later.

The Warriors out-shot the Blue Devils, 17-9 for the game. Jaume Salvado earned fives saves on the day.

With the tie, the Indiana Tech men's soccer team earned their third consecutive regular season WHAC championship.

The Warriors will look for their third consecutive WHAC-Tournament title as well as they next host the #8 seeded Cornerstone (4-12, 3-7 WHAC) this Saturday at Warrior Athletic Field at 7 pm.
